This course is designed for people of all beginners’ levels, from complete beginners to those who are already a little familiar with technology.
We will cover a variety of topics, including:
How to set a mobile smartphone & tablet
How to browse the web and search for information
All about Apps, which ones are useful, which ones are free
How to use email and social media
How to use online services, such as banking, shopping, and healthcare
How to stay safe online, Cybersecurity
How to set excellent secure passwords.
And how remember themHow to use video calls, WhatsApp groups etc
How to watch tv online - RTE Player, Netflix etc
How to back-up your photos & your contacts
This course is taught by experienced instructors who will make sure that you learn at your own pace. You will have plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice and questions so you can be sure that you will leave the course feeling confident in your abilities to use your phone.
